SUPPORTING
AN UNLIMITED NUMBER OF PROCESSING NODES inter connected by the world's fastest
network crossbar, Valkyrie includes a 'wide and deep' tri-linear twisted double helix fiber optic minimum
distance hyper-backplane w/pipeline for vectorization and fast datacoupling
/ decoupling (datacodec). High CPU headroom in the basic deign, leads to higher performance
in smaller systems !!
CENTRAL PROCESSING in the R&D series, is performed by experimental NAST CPU
chips. The commercial variants of Valkyrie, use the new Intel XEON and
ITANIUM2 processors, a proprietary ASIC Array that implements
Advanced MPS on a "cell at a time tree" basis, using the twisted
double helix network backbone (optical or copper) to tightly couple the "cells"
in a proprietary network array that insures that the processors are able to
intercommunicate and share data more efficiently than in traditional multiprocessor servers.
