This is the first
desktop PC that has Apple's iMac cornered... By eliminating un-needed PCI
slots and adapters, and condensing the entire PC down to a single board
implementation with ultra-fast 133MHz Front Side Bus and Double Data Rate
Open/GL Video, the iBox has brought the overhead of Microsoft Windows down
to nearly 1/4th normal, while reducing the entry price for the
desktop network PC workstation, down to a paltry $399. The iBox
Silver Bullet is characterized by 3-4 second boot up times, and
extraordinary Graphics performance, rivaling the top of the line Matrox
G400, GEForce and ATI Radeon Video Systems. The system's unique
SIS630eX, the next generation of Intel integrated Graphics from SIS, is a
full 1/3rd faster at Open/GL and 3D/Glide, than many APG 4X Video
Adapters, yet it uses no dedicated memory. It's uniquely timed RAMDAC
interface, using UMA access, displays Microsoft Windows' Image Buffer
DIRECTLY OUT OF WINDOWS MEMORY without tying up system resources to copy
it to a video board. The result is a coupling of Local Bus 133MHz
Graphics Adapter Speed, and double data rate effective throughput using
its 266MHz RAMDAC.Below,
you will find the remarkable Silver Bullet's deceptively low cost,
explained in terms of basic operating characteristics. This is,
truly, an easy choice, because the iBox is about 1/2 of the cost of
the equal system made of independent components, yet it is a lot faster,
and a lot easier to maintain. Manufactured by our joint venture with
the Elite Computer Systems Group of Taiwan, the iBox Silver Bullet (and
its White Cloud and Black Maria brethren) are the industry's leading slim
clients running Windows 98 and 2000, which can outrun the top end Pentium
4, and still cost about 1/2 the average price of the equal IBM Thin
Client. Call us about add ons such as DVD, CDRWe, and additional
memory, HDD's up to 60GB 7200 RPM, and external monitors (including our
new, low cost, 17" Active Color TFT Monitor that starts at only
$899!). Whether
you intend to equip an entire office of LAN workstations, a Server based
on multiple independent systems, or a single PC for yourself or your
family, the iBox series has more potential than nearly any other computer
in the market. So, don't be surprised if this little space saver PC,
overwhelms your big, bad Pentium 4, by running business applications AND
graphical applications faster than you ever believed possible... |
