What's Covered by All Warranties:  

  • Failures caused by manufacturing or design defect, including undiagnosed failures
  • Hard Drive Surface Failure greater than 1MB Surface Defects after format
  • Display Failure caused by manufacturing or design defect
  • Physical Cabinet Failure other than due to improper handling
  • Dead On Arrival due to manufacturing or design defect (first 15 days)
  • LCD Panel Failure with more than 6 Pel (Picture ELement) failures

What's Not Covered by any Warranty

  • All failures caused by improper handling or treatment by owner or other person,
    even if such would otherwise have been covered
  • Hard Drive Surface Failure less than 1MB Surface Defects after format
  • Software failures, although such may be resolved through Lifetime Free Basic Tech Support
    EXCEPT for Software Failures caused by Hardware covered by Parts Free or Defect Free Limited Warranty
  • All acts of God, shippers, inclement, cold or hot weather, acts of war and criminal acts
  • LCD Panel Failure with less than 5 Pel failures or when due to improper handling
  • Electrical Surges, improper power or improper Grounding
  • Improper connection of or inserting or removing components improperly
  • Service by an unauthorized service provider or other unauthorized personnel unless otherwise a commonplace maintenance activity normally expected by an owner of a Personal Computer.
  • Consumables like floppies, CDs, Tapes, Mouse, Lithium Ion Batteries after 90 days, Toner, furniture.
  • Products not manufactured by us that you purchase elsewhere.  But, we'll fix these for you at low, low rates!

About the Basic Lifetime Technical Support

  • Covers only those products you buy from us
  • Only provided to the original end purchaser
  • Does not cover technical support provided exclusively by a manufacturer of a software or hardware product which formally supercedes our BLTS.
  • Covers most operational aspects of your PC and its specifications
  • Does not include development of software or hardware customization, unless part of a valid sales contract
  • May require Computer Sales & Service to engage in an extensive retrieval cycle for some information
  • Covers some programming aspects of your PC, particularly those involving setup of your operating system, consult your CAC support representative for further information
  • Is provided by authorized support personnel
  • Can assist you with the purchase of additional equipment, accessories and supplies
  • Is also available as a fee-based, on-site help administration program

Technical support is just a phone call away.

When you purchase an Computer Sales & Service computer, you have the option of ordering on-site service. When you do so, all you need to activate your service is call us. We will dispatch a service representative to your home or office as soon as we receive the call. If you are located in an area where no service representatives are available, you must arrange for your Sales Outlet to pick up the unit or deliver the service to you. If your Sales Outlet failed to advise you, you can always call our Emergency Service division and arrangements will be made to your satisfaction.

Our service locations are found throughout North and South America and most countries of the free world. But, due to the manner in which your CSS or Computer Sales & Service PC or notebook is built, our Service Technicians are amongst the loneliest people in the world!
