What do the above Routers do?  They connect to your Cable or DSL "modem" to the ISP (or to the LAN).  Then the radios within them wirelessly connect to the PCs, Laptops and Server equipped with WiFi adapters. They function as a "base station", each PC becomes a wireless remote!  Routers maintain their link to the Web!
